Tablets for thicker hair

Effective Tablets for Thicker Hair – More than Just Hair Care

Hair supplements, do they work? Yes, it can definitely be worth investing in a good hair (and skin and nails) supplement. But there are many options on the market. Which one should you choose?

We sell Hairforce Professional, a dietary supplement for hair, skin and nails that has been available since 2016, and was originally only sold in salons. We have extensive experience in helping hairdressers’ clients improve the quality of their hair. We believe that the best effect comes from what you eat, and that beauty comes primarily from within. But a good shampoo and other hair care products are also important! We believe that the best effect is achieved if you work both from the inside and the outside.

Let’s look at what makes an effective hair, skin and nail supplement.

Thicker Hair with Tablets – Essential Nutrients for Hair Growth

Hairforce emerged as a reaction to the supplements already on the market. The quality varied, we felt. After a long experience in the health industry, we saw the potential to develop a really good and uncompromising supplement, in the form of tablets to improve the quality of hair.

Our approach is that hair health is not separate from skin, nails and even other connective tissues in the body (like joints!). You have to think holistically.
The mechanisms behind the formation and maintenance of hair, skin and nails overlap. So our product Hairforce is actually also a supplement for the skin and nails, yes and also other parts of the body, where flexible tissue is present, like joints and ligaments.

A good hair supplement should therefore contain substances that build up, or ‘raw materials’, for hair, skin and nails. Hairforce contains organic sulphur (MSM) and silicon. They are important building blocks. Silicon is a common ingredient in hair supplements. MSM, on the other hand, is unusual.

Common in tablets for the hair is a B complex, or at least some of the B vitamins. We think a quality supplement should contain the whole complex, including choline and inositol. And in doses that make a difference. B5 and biotin are vitamins that are particularly important for hair and skin. Hairforce contains them both in the right dose, not too little, not too much. In addition, Hairforce contains ‘natural’ forms of B12 and folic acid (= methylated, non-synthetic, which do not need to be converted).

Biotin is one of the most common vitamins sold for hair. Some supplements contain almost only biotin. This is because you can get quite good results on “dormant” hair follicles with biotin alone in quite high doses. But you can get much better results if you combine it with other ingredients. And we don’t think the biotin content should be too high, we think several milligrams per daily dose is far too much. Hairforce contains 1 mg/day.

Minerals such as zinc and selenium are found in almost all tablets for the hair. But the doses vary, with some supplements containing them in such low doses that they seem mostly for decoration. Hairforce contains zinc, selenium, magnesium, iodine and manganese, among others.

The important thing is the balance between the doses and the substances. All vitamins and minerals work together in ways that mean you want to get the right balance between them. “Megadoses” are not a good idea.

Hair supplements sometimes contain some form of herb or plant extract. Common ones are horsetail (for silicon) or extracts of millet or wheat germ. In Hairforce we use bamboo shoots as a source of silicon, which we consider to be the safest source. Herbs are less common in hair tablets, but Hairforce contains extracts of Rosemary and Salvia Sclarea, at as much as 500 mg/day (250 mg per herb).

How Our Tablets for Thicker Hair Work

Hairforce Professional is easy to use. The substances in the tablets are easily absorbed. The tablets can be chewed if you want (although it tastes quite bitter).

How Hairforce works

– It provides the ‘building blocks’ to create new hair, skin and nails, giving hair the strength and volume it needs to grow thicker and stronger.
– By improving the health of hair follicles, it reduces the risk of hair loss and stimulates the growth of stronger hairs.
– Provides the body with substances that help balance hormones.
– Provides the body with substances that help the body to detoxify itself.
– Contains substances that contribute to better microcirculation in the skin and scalp.
– Stimulates hair follicles.
– Has a mild anti-inflammatory effect.

What to expect?

The results for a woman who has lost some hair quality and hair, usually show after about 5 weeks (on average), when you can notice a faster growth and some improved feeling of volume. Ask your hairdresser to check, as the hairdresser is often the first to notice! After 2.5 months (on average), you will often notice new growth in the form of small scales around the temples and forehead. This means that the “dormant” hair follicles have come back to life. Continue using Hairforce and give these tiny new hairs maximum nourishment, and they will grow into strong, new hairs!

We recommend a course of at least 6 months, or as long as you want. It’s ok to use Hairforce all year round if you want.

Vitamins for hair: build beauty from within

This contains Hairforce:

silicon
Is a trace element that is very important for creating firmness in tissues and giving strength and elasticity to the skin. It is a structural component of the body’s collagen. A lack of silicon in the skin makes it less elastic.

Mineral researcher Carlisle showed in studies in the 1970s the importance of the role of silicon in connecting tissue to hair and nails. Other studies have also shown that the silicon content of skin and hair tends to decrease with age. Diets rich in silicon therefore strengthen the nails, hair, skin, bones, arteries, brain and connective tissues of the body. Silicon also appears to prevent Alzheimer’s disease by counteracting aluminum in the body (aluminum is toxic).

MSM
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is one of our favorite substances! It’s sometimes called the beauty mineral, but is quite unknown. Even though organic sulphur makes up 0.25% of your body weight. Sulphur is mainly found in the body’s protein-rich tissues such as cartilage, tendons, ligaments, muscles, bones, skin, hair and nails. As it is an important building block for these tissues, supplementation with MSM can help with joint problems, pain, inflammation, eczema, dry/itchy skin, hair loss, poor hair quality and brittle nails.

Collagen has become trendy lately as a supplement. It is not only important for the cartilage of joints, but gives all connective tissues strength and stability. The body produces collagen itself, and because sulphur is one of the most important substances in collagen synthesis, it also affects the skin, hair and nails. MSM with vitamin C can help with dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, self-cracking and reduce skin scarring.

Keratin is a protein that gives nails and hair strength and shine. It contains, among other things, the sulphur-containing amino acid cysteine, which many hair loss sufferers lack. Studies with MSM have shown better hair growth, hair quality, nail growth, thickness and strength of nails. By the way, did you know that collagen is 30% cysteine?

Zinc
Zinc has so many functions in the body that it is impossible to describe them all here. It is important for the immune system and the endocrine system, especially the thyroid. Zinc is involved in the conversion of amino acids into keratin. Deficiency results in reduced cellular metabolism and problems with hair production. Helps keep the oil glands around the hair follicles in balance. Very important also for the hormonal system.

Iodine
All cells in the body need iodine to function optimally. Iodine acts as a kind of metabolic regulator that helps stimulate the body’s metabolism, making hair and skin healthier. When deficient, hair matrix cells do not grow optimally. Iodine deficiency is common and can lead to thyroid problems. One reason why deficiency is common, we believe, is because of iodine antagonists such as brominated flame retardants in our furniture, clothing and electronic devices. Our homes are full of these chemicals.

Selenium
Is a trace element that is very important for healthy hair and skin. It is thought to be able to counteract scalp fungus. It has antioxidant properties and is involved in many body systems, including the immune and endocrine systems, particularly important for thyroid function. Impaired thyroid function often leads to hair loss. Is the main component of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which breaks down hydrogen peroxide and fatty acid peroxides (hydrogen peroxide is considered one of the causes of gray hair).

manganese
Important for the thyroid gland and the formation of thyroxine. Used in the liver for detoxification. Important for blood sugar balance. Manganese is an important antioxidant, necessary for the production of interferon and the endogenous antioxidant superoxide dismutase (SOD). Required for the production of bones, joints and other tissues (including hair, skin and nails). is an important component of a joint lubricant called hyaluronic acid (also available in supplement form, given to racehorses)

Magnesium
It works together with calcium, both of which are needed for muscle function. Magnesium is also needed for the body to be able to utilize the proteins you eat, which are very important for hair and skin. Magnesium is considered essential for optimal scalp function and can reduce the risk of dandruff and itchy scalp. Deficiency is very common. If you sometimes have muscle cramps, dizziness or a hard stomach, it is likely that you are magnesium deficient. It is a very unusual ingredient in a supplement for hair, Hairforce is the only one that contains magnesium.

Biotin (also known as B7)
Helps the body break down fat, carbohydrates and protein, for nutrient absorption. Believed to heal damaged stomach and intestinal mucosa and counteract candida. The mechanism is not clear, but seems to be able to awaken hair follicles stuck in their dormant phase. Important for the production of keratin, a component of hair, scalp and nails. Said to counteract gray hair.

Vitamin B2
Reduces excessive sebum production and promotes cell renewal in the body.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
Important for energy production. Deficiency can cause thinning hair. Important for blood circulation.

Vitamin B5
Needed for cell division in the root of hair follicles. Has long been used for skin problems (acne).

Vitamin B6
Slows down the secretion of sebum and promotes the absorption of proteins (amino acids) that you eat. Needed in the liver for detoxification.

Vitamin B12
It is thought to play an important role in cell division in hair follicles. B12 is also needed for thyroid function and in the liver for detoxification, along with B6 and folate.

Folate (natural folic acid)
Plays an important role in the production of red blood cells and the transportation of nutrients to your hair follicles. Needed for normal cell division. Important substance in the liver for detoxification, e.g. to ‘clean out’ hormones.

Vitamin C
It is widely known to be important for the immune system. Stimulates the production of collagen and other connective tissues, so the link to hair, skin and nails is obvious. Has antioxidant action. May have an anti-inflammatory effect. Synergist (helps) for the absorption of other nutrients, such as iron, calcium and MSM.

Rosemary and Sage Sclarea
These two herbs have a long tradition in alternative herbal medicine for hair. Rosemary is also a spice widely used around the Mediterranean. It has been shown to improve microcirculation and has an antioxidant effect. Microcirculation is very important for hair health, as we need to get nutrients to the top of the head, through the small ultra-fine blood vessels there.

Salvia Sclarea also has a microcirculation-promoting effect, plus it has a hormone-balancing effect.

What Hairforce does not contain
Hairforce does not contain DHT blockers (substances that intervene and block the conversion of hormones). It contains no medicinal substances whatsoever. Only substances that aim to create balance and give your body the capacity to function naturally.

Hairforce also does not contain copper, vitamin A, iron or vitamin D. We think copper is a particularly problematic substance that you should be careful with. This applies to all the substances above, it is better to take them as supplements separately if you have been diagnosed with a deficiency. Iron and vitamin D deficiencies, for example, are easy to check with your doctor.

Tablets for Women Who Want Thicker Hair

Our tablets are specifically designed to meet women’s needs for thicker hair and reduced hair loss, the problems hairdressers face every day with their clients.

The tablets contain a unique blend of nutrients that are known to be commonly deficient while having a positive effect on hair, skin and nails.

Hairforce is also used by men. For male pattern baldness, it takes longer to get results, depending on how far it has progressed. If a man has already lost a lot of hair, it is unlikely that he will regain the hair he had when he was 20 years old, but it is possible to slow down and to some extent reverse male pattern baldness.
