Taxfree for orders outside Europe
We do not charge VAT, duties or taxes on orders to countries outside the EU.
The prices you see in the webshop are including European VAT.
15% will be deducted from the price in the webshop at check-out if your country is outside the EU.

Please keep in mind that custom tax may apply at your country’s custom, and that it would be your responsibility to pay any additional such charges!

Here are examples of custom rates:
Japan - 15% Custom + 5% VAT
South Korea - 8% Custom + 10% VAT
Singapore - 7% Goods and Services Tax
US - 8% Custom + sales tax depending on state
Hong Kong - 0%

(We can not guarantee these rates are correct. Please contact your local customs office if you need more detailed information). If your country imposes tax on the goods, in almost all cases, FedEx will offer to bill you so that you do not have to have cash on hand on delivery.

Do you ship anywhere in the world?
Yes. And worldwide shipping is free. We ship globally with FedEx. (www.fedex.com)

When will my order arrive?
We ship as quickly as possible. Usually within 24 hours. Then expect 3-6 days for shipping, depending on how far away you are. For example, Australia will take a couple of days longer than Denmark, as we ship from Sweden.
Also, be aware that your country may impose custom charges to the packet, and a delay there can not be foreseen by us!

What happens after check-out?
When we receive your order, you will receive an order-statement email with a reference number (Please keep this unique reference number and quote it in any eventual correspondence with us). When the goods are shipped, you will receive another email, with a tracking number so that you can follow the packet. We ship with FedEx (http://www.fedex.com/).

How do you pack the goods?
Every bag is put into a dust-bag of fabric, and put in its own special box.
This is then put into a freight box and shipped.

The bag I want is sold out!
Our production is time-consuming and not very large. It is not uncommon that a product or certain colour is unavailable. If you want a sold-out item you can sign up for a waiting list. There is no obligation to buy once we have your bag in stock. We will contact you, and you will have one week to decide, we will hold the item for you during this time.

Do you leave some kind of warranty?
If your bag should break we will repair it for free (unless in a state beyond repair). There is no time-limit.
Should there be a manufacturing fault on a bag you have just purchased from us, we will replace it or give you the money back.

Returns
You can return a bag within 14 days after purchase. But it must be unused of course. You will have to pay return shipping. We will refund you when we have received the bag. If you want to return a bag, please contact us as quickly as possible to arrange it.

How do I take care of my bag?
Leather needs to breathe, so do not leave your bag covered in plastic.
If your bag becomes wet, let it dry naturally.
It is also a good idea to stuff your bag with something when kept in store for a longer time, to help it retain its shape.
If the leather becomes dirty, it is best to take it to a specialist leather cleaner, or for simple stains, clean with an appropriate leather cream or wipe with a soft cloth.
Do not use any strong detergents or solvents. Small and light scratches can actually be improved with a tiny little bit of saliva gently rubbed on the scratch with your finger.

For natural and completely non-toxic leather care check out the products from Tapir. (http://tapir.de/)

Please do not leave your bag for any longer time in direct, strong sunlight, and
do not store it in a damp, hot, or extremely dry place.

Do you have an enviromental policy?
Certainly. We choose leathers from tanneries with a anti-pollution policy, and as much as possible use materials that are not chemically treated. We strive to keep all our leathers vegetable tanned. This is the same for our other materials, the dust-bags are Öko-tex certified, the boxes are made of recycled cardboard. We try to minimize waste when manufacturing, and our office is powered by electricity from wind-power only.

What is that "a" with a ring over it?
It is a Scandinavian letter. The correct way to pronounce it is like "eau" in French, like in "eau de cologne".
